Holding & management company · Cairo

We own and run the companies we build.

Karim Fayed for Management is a wholly-owned Egyptian company that founds, capitalises and operates businesses in culinary systems, digital engineering and community infrastructure. Each venture trades under its own name. The standards, the method and the accountability are held here.

i · The company

A holding company that still does the work.

Most holding companies allocate capital and appoint managers. This one does that, and then builds the operating standard itself — the recipe manual, the deployment pipeline, the governance constitution. Karim Fayed for Management exists so that ventures with nothing in common commercially can share one set of standards, one back office and one person who is finally answerable for them.

The company is permanently held by a single shareholder and never takes an outside stake in itself. Where a venture needs partners, capital or a different legal form, it is incorporated one level down and this company holds the shares. That keeps the standard-setter independent of any one deal.

KitchenThree

Wholly owned·Founded 2013·Trading

Egypt's B2B culinary consultancy — feasibility and concept development, commercial kitchen design, chef matchmaking, cloud-kitchen operations and F&B turnaround. Nine service pillars, delivered under one method: “Method Creates Distinction”.

kitchenthree.co

GritWrx

Wholly owned·Digital studio·Trading

Websites, platforms, AI automation and brand identity for founders and small businesses across MENA. Custom builds only — no templates — on Next.js, Sanity and Vercel. Clean. Fast. Secure.

NAP — Network Activation Platform

Group shareholder·Founded 2022·Trading

White-label infrastructure that turns informal professional networks — alumni bodies, chambers, syndicates — into governed, searchable digital ecosystems, with data sovereignty held by the community. One isolated database per tenant, by design.

naporb.com

ABC — Alumni Benefit Community

Held via NAP·Founded 2022·Trading

The flagship network running on NAP, and the platform's proving ground: a global professional community for the American University in Cairo — directory, careers, knowledge, marketplace and member governance. Free to verified members.

abcorb.com

Legacy Link

Co-founded·Built on NAP·Prototype

A digital product for end-of-life and seniors care in Egypt — connecting families to care, coordination and vocational support in one place. Currently a working prototype running on NAP infrastructure, not yet a public service.

Sea Queen Fleet

Founded & operated·1993 – 2021·Exited

Red Sea liveaboard and diving fleet. Twenty-eight years of operating a capital-heavy, licence-heavy, safety-critical business — and the origin of the group's standards discipline.

Cookies & Pies

Founded·2013·Exited

The bakery brand the group started with — 120+ items including gluten-free and vegan lines, run zero-waste. It is the reason KitchenThree advises from an operator's chair rather than a consultant's.

Kitchen Hive

Founded·2021·Exited

A HACCP and Codex-compliant cloud-kitchen facility in New Cairo's industrial zone, built to rent production capacity to food brands. It reached full occupancy before exit.

iii · Structure

Partners come in one level down.

The holding company stays single-owner permanently. It enters partnerships as a company, never the founder as an individual — so every partner, investor and joint venture sits in an entity built for it.

Group structure Karim Fayed for Management sits at the top, wholly owned by a single shareholder. Below it: KitchenThree and GritWrx as wholly owned brands, and NAP as a separate company in which the holding company is a shareholder. Two products run on NAP — ABC, trading, and Legacy Link, at prototype stage. Planned function companies for events, HR and export sit below as dashed entities, each taking its own partner. Function companies are the group's route to partnership: each is formed around one capability, takes its own partner, and contracts with the ventures at arm's length. The holding company's ownership is never diluted.

iv · Record

Thirty-three years of operating.

Not a consultancy that never ran anything. Every standard the group sells was written against a business it owned.

1993

Sea Queen Fleet founded

A Red Sea liveaboard and diving fleet, operated for twenty-eight years. Licensing, safety systems and asset-heavy operations — the first standards discipline.

2013

Cookies & Pies opens

Founded 15 November with Hadil Amasheh. A working bakery brand — 120+ items, gluten-free and vegan lines, zero-waste production.

2016

Culinary school and kitchen rental

Training launched with the Egyptian Chefs Association, alongside the group's first rented production capacity.

2018

Nine service pillars formalised

Own cloud kitchen opened with a frozen line, school-cafeteria contracts across New Cairo and the New Capital, and corporate accounts. The consultancy method is written down.

2021

Kitchen Hive opens · Sea Queen Fleet exited

A HACCP and Codex-compliant cloud-kitchen facility in New Cairo. The same year, twenty-eight years in the Red Sea come to a close.

2022

NAP and ABC founded

The alumni community starts as a WhatsApp network and becomes the proving ground for a white-label community platform.

2025

GritWrx established

The in-house build team becomes a studio in its own right, taking external clients across fifteen sectors.

2026

Group objects extended

The holding company's registered activities are amended to cover technology and training, so every venture can trade under one legal umbrella.

vi · Principal

Karim Fayed

Founder and sole shareholder. Thirty-three years building and operating ventures across tourism, food and beverage, and digital communities — beginning with Sea Queen Fleet on the Red Sea in 1993, and continuing through the culinary consultancy, digital studio and community platform that make up the group today.

He holds a BA in Mass Communication from the American University in Cairo, class of 1993, and co-founded the AUC Alumni Benefit Community in 2022. He works from New Cairo.

The group is deliberately small at the centre and deep at the edges: specialists — an operations partner with thirty-six years in F&B, a chartered financial analyst, a commercial-kitchen engineer, a marketing director — are named to engagements rather than carried as overhead.
